I’m excited to welcome Leslie Smith (@lsmith) to the Pangeo community.
Leslie has a PhD in oceanography and has been working in science communication for the past decade. She is going to be helping our project with communications and community engagement, via the generous support of the Consortium for Ocean Leadership. You can find out more about Leslie on her fantastic website.
Her initial focus will be to help run the weekly Pangeo Showcase seminar series, working to bring some of the great content we are generating to a wider audience. Longer term, Leslie will likely help us assess and update our website and overall communications strategy.
