We’re back in Maine this year (and Australia, and some variation of remote)!
Applications are open for another week, and we’re always looking for folks who might be interested in giving tutorials or helping mentor projects.
OceanHackWeek is a small hands-on, interactive workshop focused on data science for oceanography and closely related fields (e.g. marine ecology, fisheries). Join us for five days of tutorials, data exploration, software development and community networking!
This year, the workshop will consist of two in-person events: one at Bigelow Laboratory for Ocean Sciences, Maine, US, and the other at the Kioloa Coastal Campus, ANU, NSW, Australia. The event at Bigelow Laboratory will support some form of virtual participation - see application form for more details.
OHW24 will happen from:
- August 26th-30th, 2024, for the in-person event at Bigelow Laboratory, US OR
- August 23rd-30th , 2024, for the in-person event in Australia.
Please visit our website https://oceanhackweek.org/ for details.
To apply, see Information for OHW24 Applicants — OceanHackWeek. Application deadline: June 30, 2024.
Please forward to colleagues who may be interested in this event. See https://oceanhackweek.org/about/index.html to learn more about the “Hackweek” learning and collaboration model.
We look forward to seeing you in person or online!
