Hello everyone! I just wanted to invite everyone to the Women in Data Science (WiDS) Hobart event that I am organising together with Lisa Craw, PhD student at IMAS.
WiDS Hobart aims to inspire our participants to incorporate Data Science in their field. Our event will feature a discussion where our panelists will share their experiences while pursuing a career that involves data science.
This event is free and everyone is welcome. We have decided to make this a hybrid event, so people can either join us in-person at the Cape Barron seminar room at the KPMG Building (register here) or online (register here).
We have some great panelists (see attached flyer) joining us from academia, government and industry.
