Hello Pangeo friends!
NCAR SIParCS projects for the summer of 2022 are due early October.
If you have any project ideas that would be appropriate for an undergrad or graduate student to complete over the course of ~2 months please let me know! I can serve as the NCAR advisor, with you as a remote advisor. This is a great opportunity to bring more students and students of under-represented groups into the Pangeo fold.
Last year Chelle Gentemann, Kevin Paul, and I were able to mentor Lucas Sterzinger on cloud-optimization of data formats. I think it was a huge success and would like to work with a Pangeo member again this summer.
