Hi All–unfortunately I can’t make the cloud ops WG meeting today due to a child care conflict.
We have a cloud ops working group scheduled for this coming Monday at 11:30 ET.
I’d like to propose we invite the 2i2c folks (@yuvipanda, @choldgraf, @consideRatio and @GeorgianaElena) to attend this, as our convergence with 2i2c grows ever closer.
There is quite a bit to discuss.

Coming to this late - but I’d be very happy to be a part of this if it’s appropriate to have representation from a cloud provider / partner (who is also a paleoclimatologist / geoscientist)

Hi all. There will be no coordination meeting on Monday Oct. 11 . This is Columbus Day / Indigenous Peoples Day, a NY school holiday.
The European chapter is trying to get access to some resources in terms of computation and storage to reproduce a twin of the AWS and GC deployment. The two projects that could give us a grant are: for the computation component the EGI-ACE https://www.egi.eu/ and for the storage the EOSC-DICE https://www.dice-eosc.eu/.
We are in the phase to define all the technical requirements requesting resources for pangeo europe on european public cloud and we would like to get some inputs from the community on the resources and on the approach of the AWS/GC deployment (resources necessary for Jupyterhub notebook server, Dask gateway server, User JupyterLab VM (one per user), Dask nodes, etc.).

Hi folks. There is a cloud ops WG scheduled for today at 11am. Unfortunately I have a conflict today. (I am presenting a progress report on Pangeo to NASA HQ.) I hope the meeting will still happen, but someone else will have to chair.
@sgibson91 - I know this is a crux time with the 2i2c migration under way. I hope I can link up with you some other time this week to get an update and help wherever I’m needed.
