[CI2025] Hydrology modelling hackathon

Dear Colleagues,

First, I would like to thank everyone who submitted papers to Climate Informatics (https://2025.climateinformatics.com.br), which will take place at FGV-RJ next April. The submissions are currently undergoing peer review, and authors should expect to receive results in the coming days. Shortly afterward, we will announce the conference panels and open the registration process.

I also take this opportunity to invite colleagues, their students, and other interested professionals to participate in the hydrological modelling hackathon organized by CI2025 in collaboration with Capgemini Invent (the Data Science Division of Capgemini-France) and supported by the Environmental Data Science Innovation & Inclusion Lab (ESIIL) from the University of Colorado Boulder, USA.

The challenge consists of two stages: one focused on modelling river flow in two basins, located in France and Brazil, and another focused on modelling consumption demand.

Further details regarding the hackathon, including registration and prize information, are available at: Codabench

Best regards,
Ricardo B. Lourenço
