Software Engineer at Terrafuse AI

Terrafuse AI is hiring a software engineer to help us develop our AI for climate data platform. Hoping this will be of interest to folks from the Pangeo community. Feel free to reach out to me with questions at brian@terrafuse.ai or apply here: https://apply.workable.com/terrafuse/j/D9874C79BA/

Terrafuse is a team of climate and machine learning scientists from UNC Chapel Hill, Stanford, MIT and UC Berkeley using physics-informed AI to deliver accurate high-resolution climate forecasts. We are based at Berkeley National Lab within the National Energy Research Scientific Computing Center (NERSC) and have support from National Science Foundation and Air Force SBIR grants, venture capital and a partnership with the Microsoft AI for Earth program. We are seeking core early team members excited about the potential of data and AI to reinvent the way we sense, model and mitigate the risks of a changing climate. We are committed to a culture that values empathy, diversity and a passion for making a positive impact on the planet.

Thanks for sharing Brian! And welcome to Pangeo!

Thanks Ryan! Great to see you and excited to participate in the community! As an additional note on our search, we very much want to find candidates from under-represented groups in Engineering/Earth Sciences, so if anyone comes to mind who might be interested we would really appreciate a referral.
Thanks for all the hard work on Pangeo!
