Hi all, I’m looking to recruit another Software Engineer to join my team at Brightband - adding to the roles we’ve previously hired. We’re eager to scale up our platform and pipelines for consuming a variety of observational data products in real-time, to feed into our observation-driven AI modeling tools and forecasts; we’re also looking for expertise in helping to advance our internal tooling for the entire research / engineering team.
You can read more about the specifics for the role here; the individual we hire for this role we take ownership of a large swath of core engineering, so we’re looking for someone with at least a few years of industry experience. Familiarity with weather / climate data (of any kind - particularly remote sensing products) is a big plus, but not a necessity (there’s plenty of domain knowledge across the team to help out). Experience maintaining operational pipelines with an emphasis on reliability is also a big bonus.
