"Repo" for Pangeo-powered presentations, videos, posters, papers, etc?

Apologies if I’m missing something existing and obvious

Is there / should there be a central place for folks to post / share / link professional content - posters, papers, presentations, etc - that are powered by Pangeo?

There is this:

But it’s a bit out of date.

I agree it would be great to have such a resource that was well curated and maintained. The challenge is finding someone to keep updating it. Here the volunteer model has its limits. It would be so valuable to have some admin help for stuff like this, the sort of resource that more mature projects have but we still lack.

Thanks for that @rabernat - I’ll add a few things to the wiki (PDF’s & youtube links). Clarification: we are both talking about content on science & projects that make use of Pangeo, not just those directly on the topic of Pangeo?

I hear you on the organisational resourcing in the open source, volunteer model.

Is it useful, in this specific case, to ask what is best for the project in terms of exposing the breadth of projects that leverage Pangeo? A curated, blog-like gallery?

Would this need to be an integral part of the http://pangeo.io/ web presence? Could it sit astride somewhere?

Ah ok I think I misinterpreted.

There are two main ways we have tried to catalog the science powered by Pangeo. The first is Pangeo Gallery

http://gallery.pangeo.io/

This is an evolving set of continuously integrated example notebooks. It couples tightly with Pangeo binder. It’s a bit rough around the edges, but I’m very excited about it.

We also maintain a list of publications here:

https://pangeo.io/publications.html

It would be cool to think about bringing these two distinct things together somehow.

Regardless, it’s clear that this is not very discoverable. What to do about that? :face_with_monocle:
