PhD opportunity at University of Liverpool to work on Antarctic geothermal heat flow

Hello all,

We have an opening for a 5-year PhD / Graduate Teaching Assistant (GTA) position at the University of Liverpool. The project aims to improve estimates of Antarctic geothermal heat flow from magnetic data and will involve a component of method and software development across the Fatiando Terra projects. We’ll be solving some geophysical inverse problems and make heavy use of packages in the PANGEO stack.

I’d be very grateful if you could also forward to anyone who may be interested. Unfortunately, the position is restricted to UK candidates.
