Keith Maull, PhD is a data scientist and software engineer at the NCAR library who’s research focuses on measuring research impact especially through the lens of research inputs such as facilities, instruments, data and software.
Abstract
This presentation will outline our work to create guidelines for the EarthCube community related to software identification and citation. We will also discuss considerations for gathering citation and use metrics about projects involving software. The goal is to develop guidelines that enable software developers and users to accurately reference and discover scientific software.
