In our mission to support researchers, we are offering three
$100,000 “awards” to three different researchers ($300,000
total).
Any researcher may apply to become an Oracle Research
Fellow, but early-career researchers in tenure-track roles
are especially encouraged.
To apply, researchers must fill out this application in full,
and email it, along with a copy of their resume / CV, to
OracleForResearch_ww@oracle.com.
All entries must be in by EoD March 31st, 2022.
Why are we doing this?
We exist to support the research
community. And, we know that funding
research is hard. That’s why we want to
make it easy.
That’s why we’re giving away three
$100,000 fellowships to fund three different
research projects
We hope it will make a real difference ofr
an individual – or a smaller team of
researchers.
Who can apply?
Anyone can apply, but this funding is
intended to help early-career
researchers in tenure-track roles.
In addition to $300,000 in funding,
we’re also giving Research Fellow
access to the latest cloud, AI, machine
learning, HPC and GPU-powered
technologies.
Given how women and minorities are
underrepresented in research, we are
particularly excited to hear from a
diverse pool of applicants.
What are the restrictions?
The application specifies everything, but
at a high-level, eligible researchers must
be:
•Affiliated with an accredited institution
•Based in the US or UK
•In a tenure-track role
•An Assistant Professor or higher
•Have authority to direct Ph.D,
students, postdocs or other junior
researchers
