Diagnostic tools and visualization for Earth system analysis and prediction

The Joint Center for Satellite Data Assimilation at UCAR is looking for a smart and creative developer to work on diagnostic tools and visualization for Earth system analysis and prediction. We are building workflows and applications in the cloud that use near-real time data from global observing systems (e.g. see nrt.jcsda.org and soca.jcsda.org). We have some great scientists and software developers in the team, but we really need someone to work on data analysis and visualization and take these applications to the next level. This should be a developer who is familiar with Pangeo and can be immediately productive in an agile development environment. JCSDA is located in Boulder but many of us work remotely. Feel free to contact me for more information.
