We have a vacancy notice posted for two positions related to post-processing of forecast data downstream of our main weather forecasts. We are currently in the process of rebuilding ECMWF’s post-processing suites with the aim of higher performance and better resource efficiency. This work will initially focus on upgrading the existing post-processing tools into a harmonised Python eco-system, interfacing dedicated C++ libraries, and improving their scalability for future resolution upgrades of ECMWF’s forecasts.
