Bio
Phil Austin is an associate professor at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada. His research includes work on problems related to the representation of clouds in global climate models and cloud-climate feedback. Phil is also engaged in developing cloud-based computational tools for graduate and undergraduate teaching and learning. This work includes course and curriculum development in data science and climate science.
