Call for presenters for the Spring 2026 Pangeo Showcase!

Hi folks! Get ready for the Spring 2026 Pangeo Showcase Series!

I’m helping our intrepid host @maxrjones organize the series this year. If you have suggestions for topics and/or presenters, please contact me directly via Discourse (@chuckwondo) or Slack (I’m in the CNG, ESIP, and OpenScapes Slack workspaces).

If you’re interested in presenting something yourself, please sign up to give a 15- to 30-minute presentation, followed by 15-30 minutes of Q&A, and I’ll reach out about scheduling during one of the following showcase dates currently planned:

  • March 4, 12-1 PM US Eastern
  • March 11, 4-5 PM US Eastern
  • April 1, 12-1 PM US Eastern
  • April 8, 4-5 PM US Eastern
  • May 6, 4-5 PM US Eastern (UTC-5)
  • May 13, 12-1 PM US Eastern (reserved for lightning :high_voltage: talks)

Once again, back by popular demand, we plan to conclude the series with lightning :high_voltage: talks! Keep an eye out for a separate announcement!

We have a few slots filled, but have a couple of slots still open for those of you who may be on the fence!

If you’re interested in presenting, please ignore the signup link in the original announcement, as it is linked to an old form. We still get the entries via the old form, but we’ve created a new presentation signup form that ensures we capture your email address (which the old form does not do) in order to contact you for scheduling.
