Just wanted to advertise this upcoming webinar focused on optimized access to NASA data stored in HDF format on the cloud (Friday, May 14, 2021 11:00 a.m. CDT)

The project is currently specific to NASA ICESat-2 data, but is definitely more generally relevant to the ongoing discussions around data format conversions versus software library development for efficient computations on cloud infrastructure.
