Hey all -

I am chairing a search for a new Director of our Center for Geospatial Analysis (CGA) down here at William & Mary (wm.edu), and would be thrilled if we could attract someone from this group. It is a tenure track position, with tenure based in our Data Science unit (ds.wm.edu). 1/1 teaching load, with a focus on research & extramural support of a Ph.D. program. The chosen individual will also have direct reports in the library (the CGA) to support cross-campus interdisciplinary research.

Of likely interest to the folk here, W&M punches above it’s weight regarding computational capabilities, and faculty receive access to shared compute in our SciClone cluster (~10k cores, give or take, with different subclusters with varying architectures/memory).
