Hi,

We are glad to announce the release of [Stack-Stac](https://git.sophia.minesparis.psl.eu/oie/stac-oie) under MIT license.

We developed a full docker stack to publish [our own datasets](https://stac.webservice-energy.org/?.language=fr) and we thought it would be useful to the community.

Stac stack is a ready-to-run docker stack for publishing geo referenced scientific data ( **GeoTIFF, NetCDF, Zarr** , …) as a browsable, queryable STAC catalog.

Drop your assets in a folder, add a `metadata.yml` next to them, and the stack does the rest: it extracts the metadata, builds a STAC catalog, serves a STAC API, and gives you a Stac Browser (by Radiant Earth) with custom viewers and tools built in :

- A **Zarr viewer** in the browser
- A **preview of notebooks**
- A live **streaming subset/ZIP for Zarr datasets**
- Automatic translation of **Thredds XML catalogs to Stac**
- **WebDav backend** for easy updates of your data
