Hi all,

I’m looking for a guest lecturer. The course is online, scheduled 1-4:50pm on Fridays (California). Most likely in the first two weeks of November (scheduling is still in flux due to COVID19).

In this course, the students will be working on a data science project (either predicting ENSO using CNN or lifting software metadata from GitHub/Zenodo). The main goal of this course is to teach them how to manage a project and good practices when it comes to data/software/workflows.

Specifically, looking for a data scientist/computer scientist to describe their background, Pangeo, how they got involved with the projects and any advice they would have for the workplace.

Thank you

Deborah
