# Job: Atmosphere and climate modelling support for Centre of Excellence at University of Melbourne

There is a vacancy in the Climate Modelling Support team at the [ARC Centre of Excellence for Climate Extremes](https://climateextremes.org.au), based at UniMelb, in Melbourne Australia.

This is a role in a distributed team, specifically tasked with supporting Atmospheric and coupled climate modelling in the centre. It is a diverse role, and includes supporting users with processing and analysing model output data, relying heavily on the same tools as utilised in the pangeo software stack.

Would suit someone with data skills and a physics background who wanted to move into the climate space, or someone with a research background who wanted to move more into a research support role.
