Hi everyone, [Brightband](http://www.brightband.com/) is looking to grow our team. We’ve been building [open datasets](https://www.brightband.com/data/nnja-ai) to support new research initiatives in data-driven weather modeling, as well as developing the data and infrastructure to operationalize them for everyday, real-world applications.

To support this work we’re looking to hire another [Data Engineer](https://www.brightband.com/careers/data-engineer) and a [Software Engineer](https://www.brightband.com/careers/software-engineer). Both of these individuals will work closely with core engineering team focused on supporting AI weather model development by expanding our AI-ready data holdings (both archival and real-time), building our core internal ML/data platform, and creating the first iterations of the core products we’re excited to share with the public soon.

We’re particularly interested in individuals who have experience working with different types of observational datasets and building scalable, reliable platforms for real-time ingestion and dissemination.
