After you check out the [talks at AMS](https://discourse.pangeo.io/t/pangeo-related-events-talks-at-ams-2024/), why not grab a snack and a sip with other Pythians and Pangeans? Here’s more:

## [Registration Link](https://lu.ma/hwsw89ht)

## What?

Project Pythia & Pangeo social hour (and a half)!

## When?

Wednesday, 31 January 2024, 4:30 pm – 6:00 pm. Right after Wednesday afternoon’s Programming Languages of Open Science session.

## Where?

AMS Annual Meeting, Baltimore, MD. Location TBD (recommendations welcome!)

## How?

Share your interest here and follow the thread for location updates. If you plan to attend, **[register at this link](https://lu.ma/hwsw89ht) by Friday, 26 January 2024**. That’s just about a week (and a half), so the sooner the better! Once we’ve picked a spot, we can facilitate planning for any necessary carpooling or other transportation arrangements.

Myself and other Pythia folks will be available in this thread or at [projectpythia@ucar.edu](mailto:projectpythia@ucar.edu) for any questions beforehand. Looking forward to seeing y’all!

# Rescheduling update:

## This is moved to Tuesday, 30 January 2024, 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm.

Apparently I should practice reading time zone information from conference software! Those who have registered already will receive an update. Thanks everyone!
